The leader we need for Chicago Schools

Karin Norington-Reaves

Karin is a proud CPS graduate, and the mother of a CPS graduate and a current student. As the mother of a special needs child, Karin is keenly aware of the challenges families face in trying to secure quality services for their students.  As a member of the school board, she will ensure all families have access to the resources they need to thrive.

As a workforce development leader for over a decade, she also understands the connection between literacy rates, high school completion, and access to career pathways. As a school board member she will advocate for the creation of district-wide career programming that helps students identify their strengths, interests and aptitude.
